Moth of this larva lays eggs on developing capsules and flowers. Larva enters into the developing capsules and feed the seeds. Larva webs the adjoining capsules with the help of silken threads and excreta and remains inside. For the control, spray Bacillus thuringiensis, a bacterial based powder @ 1 to 1.5 kg per hectare, dissolve it in require quantity of water and spray.
