Big change in PM Kisan Scheme, with this amendment, 2 crores farmers will get installment of 6 thousand rupees
The next installment of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme of the Modi government will be sent to the farmer's account from August 1, 2020. This ambitious scheme was started last year, under which the central government helps the farmers financially. Under this scheme, money is sent directly to the farmers' account. But now a big change has happened in this scheme.
According to Minister of State for Agriculture Kailash Chaudhari …
The scope of this scheme has been expanded. The obligation to own up to 2 hectares of arable land has been abolished. After this, now the farmer families holding all the land will get benefits. This amendment will benefit 2 crore more farmers. This scheme of the Modi government was announced in the budget that came on 1 February 2019. Earlier, every year, small and marginal farmer families were given an amount of Rs 6 thousand. Its benefit was given to those farmers who used to have 2 hectares of arable land, but now this obligation has been abolished.
Let us tell you that under this scheme 3 installments of 2-2 thousand rupees are given. This amount is credited to the farmers' account under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Explain that DBT is very transparent in the process. This saves the time of farmers as well. The next installment of this scheme will start coming from August 1. In such a situation, farmers can check the status of their application from home.
