Area under cultivation of gram will increase by 40%
The area under cultivation of gram might increase by 35-40% in this Rabi season, stated Central Agriculture Secretary, Shobhana Patnaik.
Last year the area under cultivation of gram was 1.9 million hectares. Now the ministry of agriculture has indicated that it is going to increase this year.
