5 major changes have been made in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme
New Delhi. Since the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, five major changes have taken place in it. If you know about them then you will get benefited. Those who keep this information updated helps them to avail Rs 6000 annually. So far, 10 crore 10 lakh farmers have been registered under the scheme. The sixth installment of 2000 rupees will start coming into the bank account of all these farmer brothers from August 1.
Know the changes and benefits of PM Kisan Scheme
The Kisan Credit Card (KCC-kisan credit card) has also been added to the PM Kisan Scheme. This has been done so that the process of making KCC is expedited. This means that the government is giving 6000 rupees to KCC. At present, about 7 crore farmers have KCC, while the government wants to provide a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh at 4 percent interest to them by joining 2 crore more people at the earliest.
If a farmer is availing benefit of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi then he will not have to provide any documents for PM Kisan Mandhan Yojana. Because the entire document of such farmers is with the Government of India. Under this scheme, farmers can choose to contribute directly from the benefits received from the PM-Kisan scheme. In this way, he will not have to spend money directly from his pocket. His premium will be deducted from Rs. 6000.
The facility of registration for the farmers themselves: Self-registration method was taken by the Modi government to increase the number of its beneficiaries. Whereas earlier registration had to be done through Lekhpal, Kanungo and Agriculture Officer. Now if the farmer has a revenue record, Aadhaar card, mobile number and bank account number, then he can register himself by going to the Farmers Corner (pmkisan.nic.in).
Facility to know your yojana status: After registration, whether or not your application is accepted, you do not need to visit any office to know how much installment money has come in your account. Now any farmer can get status information by entering his Aadhaar, mobile and bank account number by visiting PM Kisan Portal.
Aadhaar Card Mandatory: To take advantage of this scheme, the government was asking for an Aadhaar card from the beginning. But there was not much pressure about it. Later it was made mandatory. The exemption for providing Aadhaar link to farmers in the scheme was not extended after 30 November 2019. This was done so that only eligible farmers get benefits.
