The latest technology with control atmosphere refer temperature will be used for controlling the temperature for this export. Because of this technique, it takes about three weeks to reach from Mumbai to England via water transport. This modern technique is used considering the long distance transport of the mango by shipping so that after the mangoes have reached, the fruit can be delivered to the consumers in an edible state. There is no effect on the quality of the mangoes at all this process. The taste and quality of fruit remains as it is. Using this modern technique for the first time, mango containers have been exported by the Mumbai Agricultural Produce Market Committee. Presently, Kesar mangoes of Gujarat and Badami mangoes of Andhra Pradesh have been sent. Both together, nearly 14.5 tonne of mangoes have been exported to England. Compared to air transport, the cost of shipping transport are minimal. Mango price rise can also be controlled because of this. The first container carrying mangoes will be leaving for England in the next two days through the Mumbai-England Water Transport Service of the Moxline Shipping Company. The ship will reach England in the next 21 days.
