Know about the semilooper infestation in castor crop:
The infestation may be in early or late castor shown crops. Small caterpillars scraps the epidermal layer of the leaves. While, bigger larvae defoliate the plants by leaving the main veins of the leaves. They can also damage to spikes and seeds of the castor. Adults suck the juice from citrus family plants. Also it may suck the juice from cotton bolls sometimes.
