Mother Dairy store will get tomatoes at this much rupees
The skyrocketing tomato prices will come under control by next week. In the inter-ministerial meeting held in the Department of Consumer Affairs and Food Distribution, it was informed that the arrival of the new tomato crop has started in Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh. Now this tomato Mother Dairy will sell at its outsets at the rate of Rs 55 per kg. Floods and rains have damaged crops in many parts of the country, but rain in Andhra Pradesh has not damaged the tomato crop. That is why the government there will be asked to increase the supply of tomatoes in Delhi-NCR. Currently, tomatoes are being sold in Delhi-NCR at the rate of 60 to 80 rupees per kg, according to the ministry, as soon as tomatoes from Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh will start coming to Delhi, the supply will become normal. After this, the prices will be normal. Source: Krishi Jagran 19 October 2019
