Preparation of Tootyfruity from Papaya
The papaya fruit is obtained year-round. But not suitable for distant markets. so, It is important to process the papaya. Let us know about the papaya Tootyfruity process.
Method of making Tootyfruity:-
1. Raw fruits (Green) should be selected to make the Tootyfruity.
2. Selected fruits should be washed with clean water.
3. peel the skin of Fruits.
4. cut the papaya into small cubes. Use a French Fry Cutter to cut.
5. boil the papaya cubes in water for 15 to 20 minutes. then remove from water and drain in a sieve.
6. Bake these pieces in 40 percent sugar for 15 to 20 minutes, cook until the papaya cubes turn into semi-transparent.
7. The next day, take out the syrup and add sugar to the cooker, boil for some time and then cook the cubes in a 60% intensity.
8. Divide the cooked papaya into cubes with sugar and divide it into 3 parts.
Add 4 drops of red, yellow and green food coloring to each area and mix well.
9. On the fourth day, the pieces should be removed from the dish and the excess baking must be removed with a sieve. Once washed with water, spread the pieces in a uniform tray and let them dry for 2 to 5 days in the heat. Place in tray dryer at 55 degrees C. Keep it at room temperature and let it dry for 24 to 48 hours.
10. finally, tutti frutti is ready to consume immediately or refrigerate for later use.
