When will you spray after germination of chickpea crop for pod borer?
Pod borer can also be damaged to chickpea crop at vegetative stage. Before flowering means at vegetative stage, insecticides should be sprayed on an average of one larva per plant and it’s become economical. For estimation, select 20 plants randomly and count the number of larvae per plant. Divide the total number of larvae by 20 to get the average number of larvae per plant.
