Tomorrow thunderstorm is likely to strike Diu and Porbandar coast
The threat of 'great' thunderstorms in Gujarat is diminishing. Its speed is constantly decreasing. According to a bulletin released by the Indian Meteorological Department at 5 pm on Tuesday evening, the 'Maha' thunderstorm is likely to pass at the speed of 70 to 80 kmph on Thursday around 7 AM. Light to moderate rains is expected in some places such as Anand, Ahmedabad, Botad, Porbandar and Rajkot districts.
Heavy rains are prevalent in Bhavnagar, Surat, Bharuch, Anand, Ahmedabad, Botad and Vadodara districts on 7th May. The weather department director Jayant Sarkar said that on November 7 that the thunderstorm would strike between Diu and Porbandar, but in the meantime, the speed of the storm would drop to 70 to 80 km. Ahmedabad, including Saurashtra and southern Gujarat, is expected to receive heavy rains on November 7 due to the storm. The weather will return to normal by November 8.
