Scientists Developed Latest Variety of Wheat
Scientists of the Agricultural Research Center at Pawarkheda in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh have invented several varieties of wheat. It is claimed that the yield of the new variety will be 55 to 60 quintals per hectare, which is currently 35 to 40 quintals per hectare.
Central Agricultural Research Center Delhi has also given recognition after testing new varieties of wheat. After getting the recognition, the research center Pawarkheda management had distributed the new varieties of seeds to farmers and cooperative societies last year, the results of which are now seen in the ready wheat crop. In the same year ZW 1201, ZW 1202, and ZW 1203 varieties of wheat have been developed by the Agricultural Research Center Pawarkheda. Work on these varieties had been going on for many years. These new varieties of wheat were tested by the Central Agricultural Research Center last year. These varieties were recognized after testing. Even before this, Pawarkheda Research Center had developed many varieties of wheat.
