It popularly known as ‘broomrape’ and it’s a parasitic plant. It takes nutrients and food from the roots of brinjal and damaging the crop. There is no any chemical available for the controlling it. Periodically remove from the field and destroy them. Do not give these uprooted parasitic plants to the milking animals or not dump them in manure pits
