In Junagadh and Amreli rain is still of concern to the farmers
Junagadh: Monsoon departure from the state has begun. But as the days go by, rain is causing farmers plight. Although half of this month has come to an end, it has been raining in some parts of the state. Due to which the farmers' crops are being damaged. Meanwhile, the atmosphere of Keshod and Amreli's Khambha Gir in Junagadh had suddenly changed this evening.
There was a sudden downpour in Keshod with heavy winds. Suddenly, the road was derailed as the waterfall swept through. Due to this, the difficulty of the farmers was increased. Heavy rains have caused severe damage to groundnut, cotton crop. Rainfall on Diwali festivals has made farmers worried. Gujarat has recorded 141.95% rainfall this season. This year's monsoon has been the longest monsoon of the last 58 years. Winter is expected to start in the state from November 15. The double season will be felt in the coming days. Even now, the early mornings are cold and the afternoons are filled with severe heat.
