Good rain forecast for the next ten days
In many parts of the country, the rains have been less than expected between 1st June and 21st July. However, in the next ten days, good rainfall is expected in most parts of the country. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), there is a possibility of heavy rains in the sub-Himalayan region, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Assam in the next 24 hours. At the same time, the monsoon will remain active in some parts of Gujarat region, southwest Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. These areas are expected to receive moderate and heavy rain depending upon the place. Rainfall is expected in remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, South-east Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and the rest of North-Eastern India. According to private weather agency SkyMet, monsoon activity will increase in the next ten days and most parts of the country will receive anywhere between Light to moderate rains.
