Pune: The central government is formulating a new agricultural export policy to strengthen the country's agricultural export path. It empowers each state to create its own policy. So far, seven states, including Maharashtra, have prepared their plans. According to the new policy, the District-specific Agri Export Hub will be set up in each district. Former President of NABARD, Umesh Chandra Sarangi, said, "There are moves at the central level to increase the country's agricultural exports from $30 billion to $60 billion. The Prime Minister is likely to present his role on the agricultural export policy this year, "he said.
