Deadline for Prime Minister Farmer's Honour Scheme to be November 30
Pune: Aadhaar card linking has been made mandatory to get the benefits of Prime Minister's Farmer's Honor Scheme and government has fixed a deadline of November 30, 2019. The deadline has been extended to the farmers of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Assam and Meghalaya till 31st March 2022. It is clear that Aadhaar card will not be linked if there is no financial assistance.
So far, 7.63 crore farmers have benefited. However, out of this, 3.69 crore farmers have received the third instalment of the scheme. Therefore, about 7 crore farmers are waiting for the benefit of the scheme. Farmers did not get the benefit of the scheme as the documents were not linked to the Aadhaar card. Therefore, the deadline is November 30 to complete this process. The Department of Agriculture has urged the farmers to complete all the documents during this period._x000D_ Source: Prabhat, November 12, 2019_x000D_ If you find this information useful, click on the yellow thumbs up sign under the photo and also share this with your farmer friends using the options given below._x000D_
