Control of whiteflies in Papaya
In the early stage of the outbreak of whiteflies, spray 300 PPM Neem oil 1 litre per acre by dissolving it in 200 liters of water or spray Verticillium lecanii 1 Kg per acre by dissolving it in 200 liters of water. In case of heavy infestation, control whiteflies by spraying Diafenthiuron 50% WP 240 gm per acre by dissolving in 200 litres of water or Acetamiprid 40 gm per acre by dissolving in per 200 litres of water. Spray the pesticides alternatively in 10 to 15 days interval.
