Blindness is observed in the cauliflower, cabbage, and broccoli crops. As a result of low temperatures, leaves dry up and bub formation is affected. In this stage thrips, diseases arise, and due to inappropriate intercultural practices the curd in affected. As a precautionary measure, one should avoid planting these crops at very low temperatures or opt for the cultivation of healthy seedlings with proper environment. Proper insecticide/fungicide spraying and intercropping of the crop should be done.
