Shiitake Mushrooms Cultivation on Wood
These are known as Chinese mushrooms.
Wood is perforated, and then the spores of the mushroom are nailed to it.
Wood is placed in a moist environment and then, after 16 to 18 months, is transferred to the farming area called "Haboda."
Fruiting bodies develop within 18 to 24 months of planting.
Mushrooms may be harvested for 3-4 years.
