The yield of this variety of wheat is around 66 quintals per hectare. This variety of wheat has shown a high degree of resistance against striped rusts and leaf rusts. It also has the best HMW sub-unit combination for making bread with a Glu-1 score, 8/10. It also has higher bread loaf volume (cc), bread quality score. HI 1563 - Late sowing of North Eastern Plains This variety of wheat has high resistance to stripe, stem and leaf corrosion. Also, the yield of this variety of wheat is 38 quintals per hectare. HI 1563 is a good quality wheat genotype with good quality bread, chapatti and biscuits. It also contains micronutrients like iron, zinc and copper. HD 2987 (Pusa Bahar) This variety of wheat is suitable for sowing in the plains of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Tamil Nadu. Its yield is 2.0–2.2 q / hectare in rainfed areas, 3.0–3.2 q / hectare in areas with limited irrigation. This variety of wheat is suitable for making bread. HS 507 (Pusa Suketi) This variety of wheat is suitable for hilly regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, West Bengal. Its yield in rainfed agriculture areas is 2.67 quintal / hectare (yield potential 5.43 quintal / hectare), while in irrigation-based areas the yield of this variety of wheat is 4.68 quintal / hectare (yield capacity 6.01 quintal / hectare). Along with this, it is good on the standard of quality of chapatti and roti. HD 2985 (Pusa Spring) This variety of wheat is for sowing in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, West Bengal, Assam and the plains. The yield of this variety of wheat is 3.5–4.0 quintal / hectare. It is ready in 105–110 days.
