Gujarat received the highest rainfall of last 6 years
The state has received 41 per cent more rainfall than the average rainfall this year, ie 141 per cent. Thus, this is the highest record-breaking rainfall of the last 6 years. 6 years ago, ie, in the year 2013, there was rainfall of 1175 mm, ie 47 inches. In comparison, this time it has received 1150 mm ie, 46 inches of rain. Thus, only one inch less rainfall has been received than last year. On the other hand, last year, there was a total of 25.52 inches of rainfall last year. Compared to this, 55% more rainfall was recorded this time. In the last thirty years, in 1994, the highest rainfall was 49.80 inches. The state has recorded a record-breaking rainfall in the last 6 years. The average rainfall was 26 inches in the year 2015, 29.08 inches in the year -2016, 36.36 inches in the year-2017 and 25.52 inches in the year-2018. In Gujarat, most of the dams have been flooded.
